things that would make @Twitter better~ ((my thoughts and a notice))

ok, twitter is good and all sites has flaws and errors and such. no site is going to be perfect forever. so i figured why not share the ideas and maybe twitter will use them~

((twitterjail and tweet limit))

this is the most annoying thing i can think of. every users hates being in twitter jail or getting the tweet error where you can’t tweet nor can you reply you will be in twitter jail for 1 hr to 2 hrs based on how each tweet is

“Updates: 1,000 per day. The daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals. Retweets are counted as updates.”

once you reach the limit you will be unable to do anything unless you wait 24 hrs or wait a hr or 2, and this can be annoying when you are talking to a friend or someone and you get that message “you hit the tweet limit” then you will be forced to make a back-up account you will rarely use if you get the tweet limit this can be annoying as well.

so twitter should remove the tweet limit or make it a bit higher (5,000 per day) would be fair and everyone will be able to talk to everyone without the need to make a backup account or accounts.

((DMS))

“Direct Messages: 250 per day.” we all want to keep things secret between friends and DMS do just that.

but 250 dms is not enough really~ if you got ton of friends 250 DMS per day won’t cut it~ maybe 1,000 DMS will help.

((blocking))

we all know when you got a jerk/troll/bot, that is following you, you want to block the said person. with twitter block option you can, but it is half  done but i will show how blocking should work and how twitter block option fails.

((blocking pros))

it’s blocks the user. ((they can’t tweet you or dm you and list you))

 

((blocking cons))

after you block the user.

they can still view your TL,

see all your new tweets

they can still say hi to you even if you blocked them i believe.

and more.

so in a way, it’s like they were never blocked to begin with from the start.

((ways to make blocking way better))

if you block someone, they shouldn’t be allow to view your Timeline or profile

if you block someone, you should be given a option to able IP ban so the blocked user will be unable to use back-up account to find you

and if you block someone all the tweets/DMs to that user should be deleted and while blocked, the blocked user should get this message “the account can’t be found” meaning your account is no longer there for them till you unblock them.

((a quick notice))

((i’am taking a break from twitter, fb, etc, i know when i say that, i would be back in a hr or so. but this time i mean it.. i will be back in a week or two while i’am away i have a twitter bot (from twittascope) that tweets in the morning “A series of unexpected twists and turns at work today could le… More for Taurus http://twittascope.com/?sign=2” and no that’s not me tweeting *facehoof* i will be back in 1 or 2 weeks. there will be no DMS and no replies and tweets from me in 1 or 2 weeks. affiliated  ”mlp_sonik” with “sonickun360″. even though i made them, they are made for two types of RP “mlp_sonik” is mainly  mlp: fim RP only and “sonickun360″ is a opened rp account meaning i join all rp as sonickun360 and i reply to all.

((RP types))

there are Sonic RP, DBZ RP, pony RP, Naruto RP.. the list goes on. note you must pick a type of RP that suits you best and your RP character. if you are human, your RP character would fit in sonic, DBZ, Naruto, etc RP

you are free to be anything in RP. most RP types are G or PG to PG 13 or up.

(must have a Roleplay character in order to well, RP)

you can either make your RP character (a icon or full size picture or get a friend to make you one, and have a name for that character you made.

(beginner tips for RP)

Ok,  i have been a RPer for 2 or 3 years, so i know a lot about it *grin* when you RP in twitter make sure to have ” * ” when you do a RP action EX: *wave* or -wave- even use ~wave~  before you RP on Twitter.  make sure you add some sign that you are a RPer account by adding to your bio that you a RPer, EX: ((RP Account)).  your followers may start to get mad and may ask or want to know why you are  spamming so many tweets or wonder who are you talking to? and they may block/unfollow. the rest you will figure out or learn as you get better in RP *nods*

this style of RP is used by many RPers.

(indirect tip)

ok on twitter when in RP we use “indirect tweets” this means every tweet that is a Reply to someone will be look like this with out the “@”, “hey RJ,  ready to help” or “want to help?” however though,  if the user is not following you, the indirect tweet will not be seen by them. ((keep in mind, finding items in RP can’t be easy, make it feel real or you may cause things to get boring and don’t take to long or they may get bored as well))

here a better way to show you, but first you must “@” the user

hero: hi @test and can you help?

test: hello @hero and sure

hero:  can you go get me some gems, test? *holds a map*

test: sure, hero *goes looking for gems while using the map*

test: ok, where can i find those gems at?

test: *found the gems* here they are.

(direct tip)

in RP, we can use “direct tweets” to get someone to know you are there.. ”@test” note some may ignore the tweet or may not see it. never spam them or else you are just asking to be block.. and some RP accounts may block, you once you follow them, it’s best to not follow to many users. *blinks*

Ex: test:  hi @hero > hero: hello @test and how are you? > test: @hero, i’am good.

(Direct messages tip)

other ways to use DM’s

EX: test: can i tell you my story?

EX: Hero: sure.

EX:  test: *whisper to hero* ((DM)) (you would dm them the thing you would tell them, this is rather simple to understand, not much to say about it really.)

EX: Hero: *nods* i see, your story was different but i know how it must feel.

(RL or Real Life)

in RP with some users, it’s hard to tell if someone is talking about RL or RP. if someone or you is talking about RP “hi *wave*” but if you are talking about RL use ” ((hi *wave*)) or (RL)” that means RL talking, this really help.
